A real squash match.UJ started the match and clothslined MA Beast.He then irish whipped MA to the turnbuckle where UJ & PHBK made a tag team move:Neckbreaker 8 & spinebuster.MA Beast somehow gave Beast King the tag but he was soon super-kicked by PHBK.PHBK wnet for a figure-four and Beast King taped out and lost twice in the same night

It’s no secret that the WWE’s Tag Team Division is all but gone and only a small select number of teams left, and those that are still there have been vastly undermined, underrated, under-pushed and kept within the confines of the Lower Mid Cards. I’ve watched the WWF from the late 80′s to the present day and during the so called "Attitude Era" I saw a rise in quality and quantity of the Tag Team Division. I grew up watching feuds between teams and stables like the

These teams competed week in and week out in both tag team and singles competition, bringing with them a multitude of memorable matches and feuds. These teams, numerable and skillful as they were brought high class prestige to the Tag Team Titles in the WWF in addition to the Singles Titles many of these competitors held such as the Intercontinental, European, Hardcore and Light Heavyweight Title. These teams gave many years of work and dedication and made the Tag Team titles worth a great deal, almost to the point where it was on par with the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

So what happened? During the Invasion Angle when WCW and ECW Superstars were merged in with the WWF rosters, it resulted in 2 different sets of Tag Titles. Along with the above Superstars we were able to see a small number of parings within the Alliance such as Chris Kanyon and Chuck Palumbo, and later on Kanyon with DDP. During this time the Undertaker and Kane became the first team to hold both belts, which later led to them being unified into 1 Undisputed Title set.

But something happened after the Invasion ended. With all of the Superstars now merged in with the WWF there should of been an entire circuit of Tag Teams but instead, the Division began to go down slowly but surely. In the coming years after the WWF transitioned into the WWE the number of Tag Teams continued to go down until we’re brought to the present day. Now, when you tune in to Raw, Smackdown or ECW the only existing teams are:

John Morrison & The Miz <- Compete on all 3 Shows regularly
Cryme Tyme <- Vastly under-pushed for their popularity
The Colons
Brian Kendrick & Ezekial Jackson
Jesse & Festus <- Haven’t appeared on TV for months
Priceless
Hawkins and Ryder <- More then likely will be released

On 3 different brands, there are 6 Tag Teams and 2 Tag Title Sets. John Morrison and The Miz have all but squashed every team in the entire Division multiple times, as a result of the WWE’s push to make them appear to be the best in the company.

The Colons are decent enough Champions though they appear weak for always struggling to overcome the opposite team. Brian Kendrick has potential as a singles wrestler but his gimmick is overdone and his partnership with Ezekial Jackson leaves many questions.

Cryme Tyme, arguably the most popular team of wrestlers in the WWE presently, are given small pushes into the Title circuit but are immediately squashed by Miz and Morrison, or they are essentially ‘screwed’ out of the match by underhanded tactics or outside interference.

Hawkins and Ryder had potential but were stuck with a poorly run stable and will probably be released soon after another Squash Match with The Big Show or Vladimir Kozlov

Jesse and Festus had momentum but they haven’t appeared on TV in months. More then likely they will be released or re-packaged.

Priceless are the only other team aside from John Morrison and The Miz who are actually presented as a serious team. While I disagree with them even being on the active Roster much less the flag ship show, they are given a heavy push and tend to dismantle the opposing team.

So where does this leave us as the Fans? We’ve gone from seeing the birth of the TLC match amidst a feud between The Dudleys, The Hardys and Edge and Christian, to seeing Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr squash randomly paired teams, the same can be said about John Morrison and The Miz.

One of the primary differences between 8-12 years ago and now is that teams used to be presented as Teams. When Scotty 2 Hotty and Grand Master Sexy came out you knew they were a Tag team from the way they interacted with one another. When you saw fireworks raining down from the rafters to the stage with a shrill whistle you knew that Tables would be brought out and D Von Dudley would "Testify" When the lights went out and you heard an echoing whisper and flames would ignite on the Stage you knew to expect Gangrel and the Brood to rise up with a chalice of "blood"

Now, you hear a car horn going off and you’re not sure if John Morrison is coming out, or if he’s coming to the ring with

You’ve made some good points there, so good that I actually did read it all

Well I have to say, slowly but surely the WWE tag-team division is regaining some sort of greatness. Obviously it’s nothing like it used to be, and probably never will be again, but thinking back a year or two ago it was much worse than it is now.

The main problem in WWE is that only the main titles (WWE and WHC) are having story-lines and feuds written around them. When it comes to mid-carder titles like the IC, US and tag-titles, there are sporadic matches between random guys just thrown together, which are never followed up. This lack of interest by the WWE writers has rubbed off on many of the fans, and caused them to believe these titles are essentially worthless.

I like the fact that the Colon brothers are now a tag-team, they have an obvious chemistry in the ring which really, we’re struggling to see in any other WWE tag-team.

That being said, I think Morrison and Miz make an extremely entertaining team. What I don’t like about the fact that they’re together is that Morrison has enough talent to be World Champion. The Miz has greatly improved since he first began in the WWE, however he still isn’t anywhere near as good as Morrison.

Now a potential tag-team/stable was the Hart Foundation 2.0 which was used in various indy’s and FCW as well. It consisted of D.H. Smith (who’s in FCW,) Tyson Kidd (a.k.a. TJ Wilson) and Natalya Neidhart. There were various other wrestlers who got involved with it including Teddy Hart and Jack Evans but the three I mentioned are the main ones. I hear that DH Smith is being selfish, and has decided that he wants to be in the "Legacy" as opposed to being in a stable with Tyson and Natalya. It’s decisions like this on the part of the wrestlers that are completely killing the division.

As you said Cryme Tyme are arguably two of the most popular wrestlers today, are great wrestlers, and make fantastic entertainment. So why is it that the writers are choosing to throw any two singles wrestlers together in order to create a tag-team, when we have a perfectly good one right in front of us?

I think that the WWE tag-team division has improved since last year, however they aren’t going to get any better unless WWE put some real thought into who is being a tag-team, instead of putting any two guys together. Because unless this is done, the tag division is essentially dead in WWE.

Raw: (Airing Next Week)

Raw opens with music and pyro.

Legacy comes out onto the stage then the Million Dollar Man’s music hits and it’s Ted Dibiase Sr. as they walk to the ring together. Ted jr. holding the ropes open for his father. Ted Sr. announces there will be no title defenses on Raw tonight but that the tag belts will be on the line at Night of Champions against Legacy. Ted Sr. announces that Cody Rhodes will take on Mark Henry and Ted Jr will take on the WWE Champion Randy Orton later tonight.

Match #1 is Team Ego (Edge & Chris Jericho) vs. Primo & Carlito

Faster paced match compared to last weeks RAW (6/29). Jericho hits the codebreaker on Carlito and Edge nails Primo with the spear for the cover and the win. Afterwards Carlito turns on Primo by sending him into the turnbuckle then throws him over the top rope to the outside. Carlito exits to the outside part of the ring and throws Primo over the announce table and walks away.

Segment: Legacy and Orton are in the locker room talking about the matches Ted Sr announced earlier this evening. Orton goes on about how if it were my father… when Ted Jr cuts him off by saying how he (Ted Sr.) isn’t your father and that my father was a whole hell of a lot better than your father!

Match 2: Divas tag-team match of Alicia Fox & Maryse vs Gail Kim and Mickey James

A short match with all four competitors getting in some offense. Gail Kim picks up the win for her team via what looked like a single arm DDT on Maryse.

Segment: Ted Sr. is getting his nails done when Cody Rhodes enters his office. Rhodes says that he wants to thank him for making the match. Ted Sr. gets Rhodes pumped up, discussing his father’s background and how *…he’s just a common man…* then says how its a travesty that the American Dream is in the Hall of Fame and that I’m not. Ted Sr. teases how he should make Cody go out there tonight in polka dots just like his father (insert Ted Sr’s trademark laugh)

Match 3: Cody Rhodes vs. Mark Henry

Pretty much a squash match. Henry hits the World’s Strongest Slam on Rhodes who then rolls out of the ring and gets counted out giving Mark Henry the win.

Match 4: Ted Dibiase (Jr) vs WWE Champion Randy Orton

An excellent match between these two superstars. Dibiase with the early advantage hitting a baseball slide on Orton to the outside. Action leads back into the ring where Orton reverses an irish whip, hits a clothesline and begins to systematically pick apart Dibiase, stomping on his arms and legs. Orton hits an impaler DDT with Dibiase’s feet on the ropes. Goes for the cover but only a 2 count. Another attempt at a cover and another kick out at 2. Match finish has Dibiase and Orton fighting it out, countering each other’s maneuvers. Dibiase attempts to lock-in his Cobra Clutch Legsweep but is countered into the RKO. Orton with the cover and a hard fought win over his fellow Legacy cohort.

Segment: HHH is preparing for his match with Cena later. Josh Matthews interviews HHH about facing Cena later tonight for a chance at the WWE title. HHH says that if you are looking for "epic" look no further than this match tonight. HHH concludes the interview by saying that he will do anything to reclaim the WWE championship.

Segment: The VIP Lounge with MVP already at the lounge. His special guest tonight is one of RAW’s newest accquistions in the trade from last week… Jack Swagger! MVP welcomes Swagger to OUR (referring to the crowd) VIP lounge. MVP asks Swagger how it feels to be seen as a fraud after his actions last week on RAW. Swagger says that I’m a two-time two-time All american at the University of Oklahoma Know what that means? MVP retorts "What? You couldn’t get into a better school?" which draws some laughs from the crowd. Swagger then talks about MVP’s past. How MVP is a criminal and that if anyone is an "MVP" it should be me! MVP responds by saying that he doesn’t hide his past. That he made some bad choices but that he paid his debt to society LIKE A MAN (nice pop from the crowd). Swagger says MVP is a pathetic excuse for a human being. MVP says that a big difference between you and me is that Swagger while you run from a fight…(MVP removes his gold chains and shades)…me? I’ve never been afraid of a fight. Loud MVP chants following that last comment. Swagger slowly ex
exits the ring saying how he doesn’t fight criminals. MVP says you don’t fight at all but if you ever want to fight me, you can find me right here in the VIP lounge where I’m straight up…Ballin!

Segment: Ted jr is on screen talking to his father, upset at him. Claiming that you set me up to lose against Orton tonight and that it’s still about you isn’t it? Well, now… it’s my time and a very loud slap to his dad’s face (the redness immediately visible). Ted jr says "Thanks a lot dad" and leaves

Match 5: US Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne (non-title)

Very fast paced match with some mat wrestling mixed in. Bourne manages to connect with the Shooting Star Press on the US champion for the win! This should make Evan Bourne the number 1 contender for the US championship. After the match, Bourne and Kingston shake hands as the Big Show’s music and pyro hits. Big Show attacks both Bourne and Kingston, hitting a vicious spear on Bourne and then applying the Camel Clutch on Kingston
Segment: Josh Matthews interviews Cena about their upcoming match. Cena recounts what HHH said earlier that when the WWE title is on the line, all bets are off indeed. Only one person can be champion…. and that it’s been too long since ive said these words: "The Champ Is Here!"

Main Event: Triple H vs. John Cena (Winner faces Orton at NoC for the WWE Championship)
Legacy watching all of this up top the stage is suprised by Ted Sr’s music playing as he comes out and lays out his own son with a haymaker to the face which draws a loud cheer from the crowd.

HHH high-fives fans around ringside as Lillian thanks us for coming out tonight.

Both HHH and Cena come out to loud ovations from the crowd. They stare each other down in the ring. Loud alternating "Let’s go Cena" and "Triple H" chants. This crowd is hot for tonight’s main event! Very similar to their match last year at Night of Champions however Legacy run out to the ring and interfere, attacking both Cena and HHH. Chioda calls for the bell and Lillian announces that due to the intereference, this match is ruled… Orton comes out onto the stage with a mic in hand cutting of Lillian saying yes yes we all know the result…. That it’s a double disqualification. Since no one won the match, Orton claims that neither Triple H or John Cena will face him at NoC for the title. Ted Sr. comes out and says Orton while you said nobody won, I see it as nobody lost. Therefore Orton, your match at Night of Champions will be a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship!

Dark Main Event: Legacy w/ Randy Orton vs. John Cena and Triple H

Before the match starts, Cena is on the mic telling everyone how tonight was like Wrestlemania in this building till Legacy so rudely interrupted their match. He tells Legacy (who are all standing on stage facing the ring) they have two options. Option 1, you can apologize to everyone in this arena for interrupting or 2… Cena stops talking as Legacy is methodically walking to the ring. Cena picks up again, I thought you might try that. As Legacy enters the ring, Orton gets into a stare down with Cena and HHH but Legacy quickly retreats to the back leaving Orton to fend for himself. Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Orton and Triple H hits the Pedigree as his music hits to end the match.

Finally the night is here! YWWA’s first ppv event, Bad Blood. And what a better way to end it with a Psycho Dude. Now last week as we all know Graduation Bear beat me. But I am not going to lie, I have had a cold and I was not ready. Plus when I came down to the ring I stubbed my toe. How could I defend myself in my match with the piercing pain of my toe? Impossible! But still, I don’t mean to point fingers, but it was all Justin’s fault. He screwd me. Why he was out there I do not know. Does he want the glory, does he have a plot against me, or does he just hate bears. Or maybe he is stupid and never graduated from High School and therefore hates GRADUATION Bear. I don’t know. But still, I will beat that stupid bear tonight. You see, up until now Graduation Bear has been an indangered speicies. That is because he has stood in my way. The match was an extrordinary Main Event,It ended when Justin and Graduation Bear were on top of one ladder,and Psycho Dude 99 pushed the ladder causing Justin and GB to fall out of the ring,and Psycho Dude 99 climbed the ladder and won the match to retain his YWWA Championship!
