*SMACKDOWN SPOILER* Major WWE Star Returns!

WWE taped this week’s edition of Smackdown tonight from the U.S Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Illinois. Thanks to WrestlingNewsWorld.com reader Brent Garrison for providing us with text-message updates. Below are full results:

Smackdown (Airing Friday on MyNetworkTV):
* The show opens with World Heavyweight Champion Kane vs. Chris Masters in a non-title match. Masters attempts the Masterlock but doesn’t lock it in. Kane hits a dropkick! Kane takes over the match and dominates the Masterpiece. He works his knee. Masters tries a comeback but Kane hits the Tombstone to pickup the win.

* Kane gets on the mic and cuts a promo on The Undertaker. He goes into the crowd and says he has a challenge for The Undertaker tonight that he can’t refuse.

* WWE Tag Team Champions "Dashing" Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre vs. The Hart Dynasty in a non-title match. Rhodes gives the Bloomington crowd some grooming tips. SH Smith takes a beating but finally tags in Tyson Kidd. McIntyre hits Future Shock on Kidd to get a three count after some miss-communication with The Hart Dynasty.

* Backstage, Alberto Del Rio has attacked Christian. Referees attend to Christian as he tells them his shoulder is hurt bad.

* CM Punk is backstage with Luke Gallows. Gallows takes Punk out and says he’s done with him. They will have a match tonight.

* Chavo Guerrero vs. Kaval. Kaval gets a nice pop in a fast-paced match as he works stiff with Chavo. Kaval hits a modified tarantula in Chavo and the action goes to the outside. Chavo hits three amigos. Kaval battles back but misses a charge. Chavo hits a Frog Splash and gets the three count.

* Alberto Del Rio says he will have a Rey Mysterio update tonight.

* Alberto Del Rio comes out and a recap of his assault on Rey Mysterio is shown. He says Mysterio is coming back next week in Oklahoma City to challenge him. Christian comes out, selling his "injuries" from earlier. Del Rio locks on code red and Christian taps. Del Rio slams Christian’s injured arm into the steel ring post.

* Big Show b. Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins in a squash match. Show picked up the victory when Archer tapped out.

* Backstage, Jack Swagger is interviewed. The Dudebusters and Hornswoggle put his jersey in a boxed marked SyFy.

* CM Punk vs. Luke Gallows. Short match as they exchange counters. Punk wins after hitting GTS.

* Vickie Guerrero and Kaitlyn come out with Dolph Ziggler. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. MVP in a non-title match. Ziggler gets a lot of heat. MVP controls early but Ziggler counters. Ziggler takes a tough bump to the outside. Vickie and Kaitlyn get into it on the outside. Ziggler attends to Vickie while referee Chad Patton starts to count. MVP goes to the outside to continue the action. Ziggler goes on the offensive after an MVP miscue. Dolph gets upset as Vickie goes to the back. Dolph applies a chinlock on MVP as the crowd chants for him to break the hold. MVP breaks the hold and hits a lot of offense but Ziggler has had enough. He grabs the Intercontinental Championship belt and gets himself counted out. Winner via count out, MVP.

* Kane’s challenge to The Undertaker is coming up next.

* Kane says WWE is now his yard. He says the phenom has fallen and he didn’t end things at Night of Champions because the fun just started. He wants The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell. The druids come to ringside with a casket… it’s a red casket – just for Kane. Kane opens it and Paul Bearer is in the casket. He sits up and the lights go out. Undertaker is in the ring. A fight ensues with Undertaker dominating. Kane leaves the ring and the show ends with Undertaker bowing to Paul Bearer to end the show.

You would expect it to be retirement time for Kane or Undertaker. Bearer wouldn’t return to the WWE unless it was.

It is probably time for Kane to retire because in all honesty and fairness, who else should retire him if not Undertaker? Kane is getting one final push before he retires, and it is possible only because of the Undertaker. Taker on the other hand, will probably be there till he goes 19-0 or 20-0. He will definitely win the belt at HIAC which means he is not the one about to retire right now, regardless of what the physical condition might seem (he always comes back and gives good performances after healing his injuries and is right now looking worse than what he is in reality to "sell" the "vegetative" state storyline).

* A Video opens from last week, when Randy Orton had said that he had killed The Undertaker and that he would do the same to Matt Hardy laster in the night. In the main event Randy Orton beat Matt Hardy until the Undertaker haunted Randy Orton and his father Bob Orton, The Undertaker then said that they would have a match at Armageddon inside the Hell in a Cell.

* SmackDown! Opens with Randy Orton and his father "Cowboy" Bob Orton out in the ring, Randy grabs the microphone and says "Undertaker, where ever you are, my answer for Hell in a Cell is still unquestionable, so I havn’t made my answer yet, and Wherever you are you think you can get into my head, and play games with me then your dealing with the wronf guy here, because I am the mad who burnt you alive, I am a man that crushed you through the Titantron, I am a dangerous man Undertaker"

* Chad D*ick w/James D*ick defeated. Heidenreich w/Road Warrior Animal: 6:03
Chad won the match after James interfed on his behalf, after the match The D*icks challenged the Mexicools (Psicosis and Super Crazy) to a match at Armageddon, the Mexicools accepted the request.

* Randy Orton is seen talking to his father about the Hell in a Cell match, Randy asks Bob "Should I accept this match?" Bob Orton says "Do right for what’s best for you son…" Randy then replies, but then the telecast screen, goes all fuzzy and goes back On it goes to Bob Orton who is bleeding from his face to toe, Randy Orton looks shocked and then twists his head and Bob Orton is just standing there with no blood? how can this be, Is the Undertaker up to something?

* Bobby Lashley and Chris Benoit defeated. Paul Burchill, William Regal and United States Champion Booker T w/Sharmell in a Two on Three Handicap match: 12:35
Benoit made Burchill tap out to the Crossface, after the match Lashley hit a dominator on Regal and Benoit applied the Crossface to Booker T.

* Kristal interviews Matt Hardy about his recent confrntations with JBL, Hardy says "JBL has faced no one ever like Matt Hardy" Hardy then gets interupted by Ken Kennedy who is his opponent for later tonight, Kennedy goes "Missstteer! Kennedyyy!" irritating Hardy and Kristal.

* The Boogeyamn defeated. Local Competitor: 0:36
The Boogeyman win in a squash match after the match puts a handful of worms into the poor souls mouth.

* The Cruiserweight Champion Juventud joins Tazz and Michael Cole at ringside for this next match up.

* Kid Kash defeated. Paul London w/Brian Kendrick: 9:35
Kash with an impressive win on SmackDown!, after the match Kid Kash says "Juventud, your reign as Cruiserweight Champion will come to an end at Armageddon!"

* Matt Hardy defeated. Ken Kennedy: 11:52
Hardy with the impressive win over Mr. Kennedy on SmackDown!, after the match JBL and Jillian Hall come out and JBL trys an attack on Matt Hardy but ends up side affected and then Twistb of fated by Hardy who has that "Never say Die!" attitude.

* Rey Mysterio and Batista talking backstage with Stacy Keibler, Batista and Rey offer her to manage their team at Armageddon to even out Melina at ringside.

* Rey Mysterio w/Stacy Keibler defeated. WWE Tag Team Champion Joey Mercury w/Melina: 7:54
Mysterio gets the win with a 619 and Frogsplash dedicated to Eddie Guerrero, Mysterio gets some momentum heading into the WWE Tag Team Championship match at Armageddon.

* Randy Orton is seen shocked and heads into his Lockeroom to wash his face, while washing his face he has his head down, he then looks up in the mirror and sees a reflection of The Undertaker, but then he looks back and The Undertaker isn’t there, more mind games being played.

* General Manger of SmackDown! Teddy Long gives advice and Tells Randy Orton to take some theropy sessions with a docter starting next wee, Orton takes those sessions and heads to his car in ther parking lot, while at the Parking lot Orton gets interviewed by Josh Matthews who seems robotic and says "The Undertaker is coming for you!" Orton in more weird situations leaves and gets out of the arena.

* Michael Cole and Tazz preview The matches for Amrageddon and also say thanks to Not Forgotten for use of their song "Waiting" from the SmackDown! vs. Raw soundtrack.

* World Heavyweight Champion Batista w/Stacy Keibler defeated. WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Nitro w/Melina: 8:46
After the match the teams of Mysterio/Batista and MNM have a brawl with Batist and Rey coming out on Top.

Match 1: Justin vs Darth Hendrix

To kick off the night, Justin went toe to toe representing The Force against a Force foe in Hendrix. The battle began with a lock up which Justin very quickly was able to overcome and get behind Hendrix. He sent Hendrix down with a takedown and followed up on the mat by rushing up to his feet and dropkicking Hendrix in the face while down. Hendrix rolled away and quickly pulled himself up with the help of the ropes. He walked into a dropkicked delivered by Justin, and got right back up and walked into a 2nd one. He got up a 3rd time and this time was taken down with a hip toss. Justin was in control of the match when Hendrix got up once more, only this time he fought back. When Justin approached him near his back Hendrix delivered a few elbows to Justin’s face and then ran and took him down wit a shoulder block. Justin got right back up and Hendrix took off for a 2nd shoulder block only this time Justin caught him with a back body drop. Hendrix’s advantage lasted for just a few very short seconds and Justin was back in charge. At this point the match had only gone on for about a minute and Justin was already feeling confident. He pulled Hendrix up and hit him with a snap suplex. He pulled him up again and hit a 2nd snap suplex. After that suplex Justin began a vicious stomping attack all over Hendrix before backing up to prepare for an early finish with a Spear. Hendrix slowly got to his feet and Justin took off. However, Hendrix caught Justin as he ran for him and slammed him down with a spinning spinebuster. Fans cheered; rooting against Justin, and hoped to see Hendrix get back in the match. Unfortunately, when Hendrix pulled Justin up to capitalize, Justin kneed him in the gut and slammed him down with a 3rd snap suplex. Again Justin backed up hoping to hit a Spear this time as Hendrix approached his feet, and this time he hit it dead on to give him the victory. In a match just barely over 2 minutes long, Justin squashed Hendrix to show why he was worthy of being the US Champ.

Winner: Justin

Match 2: Red Sexy Cerebral Phenom vs Michelle McKenzie

In a match pitting up 2 knockouts dying to get that tip of a push to go for the Women’s Championship squaring off, this match could’ve been the key element toward that opportunity for the winner. Fans mainly backed up Michelle, but her fan following had died down as of late. Still, fans cheered her on over Phenom. The bell rang and the match picked up with the 2 circling each other. Phenom was the 1st to make a move and went running for Michelle but she was spotted and Michelle took her down with a drop toehold. Michelle quickly spun around and got to her feet, as did Phenom. But Phenom looked a bit angry knowing Michelle got the best of her. The 2 faced face to face before locking up. Michelle placed Phenom in a headlock and as she struggled trying to find a way out, Michelle took Phenom down with a headlock takeover and kept the hold applied on the mat. Phenom continuously rolled around trying to find an escape but couldn’t find 1. So she resorted to making her way all the way back to her feet. She managed to do so, but Michelle sent her back down with a head toss. Phenom was back down but managed to lift her head up off the mat only to get it rammed into by a running knee driven by Michelle. Fans cheered a bit as Phenom rolled into the corner and Michelle stood standing tall. Michelle was showing a great performance thus far as Phenom pulled herself up in the corner. Michelle came running for Phenom but Phenom spotted her and threw her up in the air as she ran, driving her face into the top turnbuckle pad. Michelle was dazed and Phenom slammed her down with a scoop slam. Michelle was now down and Phenom had controlled. Phenom loved when fans booed her and was loving this match because of that fact. At this time she made her way up to the 2nd rope and dropped a legdrop on Michelle. It was Michelle this time who was sent rolling into the corner now. Phenom was the 1 to pull her up and place her in the corner where she laid out several kicks to Michelle’s gut. After delivering her kicks, Phenom hoisted her high on her shoulders and hit a running powerslam! The impact echoed throughout the arena and Michelle rolled onto the apron to protect herself from a pin. Now Phenom was the 1 controlling the match and looked to be doing it flawlessly. Michelle began to pull herself up on the outside of the apron with the help of the ropes, when from on the inside Phenom approached her. But before Phenom could do any more damage Michelle began fighting back delivering stiff jabs to Phenom’s face. Phenom was stunned for a moment and allowed Michelle the opportunity to suplex Phenom from inside the ring and down to the floor!

As It Stands The Hart Dynasty Are Not On The Card To Defend Their Titles. With A Day To The PPV.

I Think There Are One Of Three Options

1- A Gauntlet Match With Such Teams As The Uso’s And Marella + Kozlov
2- A Squash Storyline With McIntyre + Rhodes

Or 3 Which Just Occurred To Me-
It’s Night Of Champions Why Would Punk Take On Big Show. Is It Possible Punk + Show Will Be Told They Must Team Together Instead Of Face Off??

Your Thoughts?

I predict:

McIntyre and Rhodes will be given a title shot because of last night’s win.
They will win the championships.
They won’t be a real team with a proper name or change their gimmicks at all.
They will use the tag division as a step up to main event status.

The only part I can’t decide is how they will lose the belts. Will they turn against each other and one (probably Rhodes) will be face? Or will they lose for a reason outside their control giving no credibility to the belts and move up the card after one reign?

* A Video opens of last week as Chris Masters, Carlito, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle all qualifyed for the Elimination Chamber Match at New Years Revolution, with just One Spot left, and also The Champion Cena will be involved in it to.

* Gregory Helms defeated. Val Venis: 6:42
After the match Helms impersonates Benjamin until Shelton from out of nowhere comes out of the crowd and springboards into the ring and lays an ass whooping on Helms.

Opinions: This episode of Raw in my opinion was better than your SmackDown. I liked the New Years Revolution build up you have going on. Kane Chokeslaming all the wrestlers had to be the best moment of the night because it reminded me of the old Kane during the Attitude Era.

You should have a 1 Night Reunion for the Four Horsemen so the rating would go even higher.

He was buried by the WWE champion Sheamus in about a minute? in a WWE title match.
Then he was sharing TV time with Edge, when Edge called him a tool.

So, is sharing tv time with the main eventers a push?

Well he is definitely being buried, the fact that Sheamus chose him and beat him in under a minute just shows that Sheamus chose him cause he’s a jobber, Edge was trying to face him cause he knew he could easily beat him, so basically he’s a jobber and I don’t blame WWE, because he needs to change his attire, his attire sucks and no one will ever take him seriously with the attire he has. And yes an attire change does make a very big difference, just look at The Miz, as soon as he got a new attire he won the US title then won MITB.

Bichsoff then says "You see that RAW is more capable of beating SmackDown!, on to further notice our next PPV Taboo Tuesday will be live from San Antonio Texas and the main event will feauture the WWE Champion John Cena taking on the Hometown boy HBK Shawn Michaels!" This will surley beat what SmackDown! had to offer last night at their No Mercy PPV. Bichsoff laughs to end the promo.

After the match Triple H grabs the mic and says "Naitch in 4 weeks the Game will get that Intercontinental Championship of your shoulders and be 1 step closer to going back on My Throne the King of RAW, The King of Kings!, me The Game Triple H!"

Carlito with World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. Carlito says "Who you guys think Kane and Big Show’s special partner is?" Cade replies "Well we have no idea Carlito"

Match 2: Singles Match
Women’s Champion Trish Stratus w/Ashley and Mickie James defeated. Torrie Wilson w/Candice Michelle and Victoria: 5:06

Maria interview WWE Champion John Cena about the match in 4 weeks between him and Shawn Michaels at Taboo Tuesday.

Gregory Helms comes ut and says "Now that I have this thing with Rosey over I am now here to start fresh and to be a Champion that I deserve to be, I am the one who will lead the new era in this Company me, Gregory Helms." Then Viscera interferes and says "All I see is One skinny little guy in the ring" Gregory Helms then continues and says "Weel Viscera maybe you should need to know that this isn’t The Hurricane anymore, I don’t and never will do jokes, foolish things or even childish antics anymore, I will be me!" Helms then attacks Viscera with a Steel Chair.

Match 3: Six Man Tag Team Match
Kane, The Big Show and Special Partner defeated. World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch and Carlito: 11:10

Shawn Michaels and Edge out on a great match on RAW. With Michaels getting the win via Super Kick to Edge.

Carlito comes into Eric Bichsoff’s office and says "Taboo Tuesday, Me and Foley"
Bichsoff says "Done!’

Triple H and Ric Flair brawling in the backstage area, Flair throws Triple H into some steel boxes in the backstage area.

The Commentary team hype up Taboo Tuesday.

Main Event: Singles Match
WWE Champion John Cena defeated. Chris Masters: 8:04

Cena won via FU to Masters and then a STFU to make the Masterpiece tap out. After the match though Shawn Michaels would come out and save Cena’s ass by supker kicking Edge who came in the ring. Eric Bichsoff then adds a match to RAW next week it will be "WWE Champion John Cena teaming up with Shawn Michaels taking on the team of Edge and Chris Masters"
