I am 16 and go to the same school with this 15 year old girl, she is in the same year as me.

She strokes my hair, stares at me in lesson at dinner and break, she also shouts my name in a higher than normal pitched voice it sounds more calmer and softer too. We are friends but don’t hang out or have each others number. She added me on facebook november last year when she started to show signs, she comments and likes almost all of my status’s and she has made wall posts such as "I love you" and "I HAD A DREAM ABOUT YOU!!!".

On day during the school holidays we crossed paths and she demanded a picture with me on her phone off my friend, when she went to pose she got on her tip toes as she is about 3-4 inch smaller than me and pushed her chest into mine this also made her boobs squash up against me. She uploaded that picture as "[My Name] xoxoxoxox!!!".

When we got back to school I got asked off her best friends if I liked her and I started noticing her looking and staring more often. We only have 1 lesson together which is P.E and in one P.E lesson she touched my a$$ and asked for another photo, then during another P.E lesson a week later when the lesson had finished and we went to get changed her best friend knocked on the boys changing room and asked for me and told me to follow, the door to where she was getting changed was open and a second after saying I was here she came out with her shirt unbuttoned I could see everything and what a body she has! (She was wearing a bra and stuff) and then she uploaded them pictures to facebook then her boyfriend (who looks about 20) commented saying that "We would make a cute couple!" and she replied with "I know! I will love you always and forever and this will always last!".

The day after we had another P.E nothing happened apart from some eye contact, until the end when we were all about to leave, she stroked my hair and said "Aww I love your hair!" in her high pitched calm voice, but then her friend said sarcasticly "Your no allowed to talk to him remember because [Her boyfriends name] doesn’t like you being with him".

She obviously likes me! but why do all them things? and why did her boyfriend stop her from talking to me?

She really likes you and is somewhat obsessed with you she want you to be a big part of her life and wants you to know that in a subtle way. Although she does all that to get your attention. if you like her make her life more easy because it takes courage to show your body to a guy that your not with but then again she’s trying way to hard to get you and that could end badly. As for her boyfriend if it is her real boyfriend, no boyfriend want his girlfriend flirting with other guys or seeing their bodies… Would you like some random guy to see your girlfriends body? Normal answer would be no. You either need to find a way to make her uninterested or let her down easy. if you let her go hard then she will be ruined, and she may say bad things about you. If you like her flirt back make her happy and tell her to calm down.

there all lots of girls that fall to hard for a guy and also don’t know how to control themselves they feel as though they are in love and they want the person they love to love them back. typical teenage girl hormones. but just be careful with her because if you show your uninterested she will be heart broken. even though your not in a relationship she thinks you guys have something.

you need to also find a way to make her understand that posting pictures of herself on facebook everyone see’s them and she shouldnt create that kind of image for herself. take pictures with her where she looks decent her height hugging or w.e but not making her chest look bigger. she should be happy with her body the way it is.

Basically all in all just be a good friend, give her advice dont piss her boyfriend off respect that he is with her and talk to her about it. if you like her tell her to break up with her bf so them there is nothing holding you two apart she will feel extremely happy about this usually. Try to avoid seeing her body or letting her expose herself. make her have more respect for her body. somehow. its hard but she will be thankful.

A recent anecdote illustrates my frustration with the very people who undermine scientific inquiry. I go to school in the South, where ignorance is the fashion of the day and any droplet of intellectual curiosity is squandered by the religious right. Free thinkers are herded by the sheep of the masses into conforming to the norm. From a young age children are taught not to question authority, no to question morality, not to question the essence of life. Scientific methods are obfuscated in favor of Creationist dribble.

So I found myself recent in a debate amongst students in my senior level Biology class. My instructor was incessant that evolution was wrong and he was trying to prove to the students that the geological record supported the theory of a great flood and he abridged the great 4,600,000,000 year span of geological time into a mere 6000. Religion seeped into the classroom only to perverse the minds of the student body. Christianity was a moral puppet and anyone who had a different world view was ostracized. Furthermore, many of these same children can’t grasp the basic fundamentals of modern science that allow us to live in such a technologically progressive society. How are they to be imparted upon lessons of logic and analytical reasoning when they believe in the fairy tale of god.

In short, Christians are ignorant douche bags.

I guess it is your misunderstanding. There have been so many great scientists from christian families. I don’t think all christians are dumb or all christians are intelligent.

My son who I have a great relationship with came to me this morning with a letter he wanted to give his best friend….he said he wanted to show me and it read "I want to tell you a secret….I’m gay". This is the first time he has made such a statement and I immediately said that was OK but kind of felt like, I wasn’t sure he fully understands what it means to be gay. I asked why he thinks that and he said from the first time he saw his friend, he knew he really liked him. He hasn’t really shown any interest in girls yet but I figured this was because he is only 8 and it’s a bit early to know about your sexual orientation and he doesn’t fully understand what sex is yet.

I don’t want to squash his feelings or make him feel closeted in any way but at the same time I don’t want him shouting he is gay and being picked on through his school life, only to discover when his hormones kick in as a teen that maybe he is actually straight after all? I could really use some advise on how to move forward. I hid the note when he was distracted so he didn’t end up taking it to give to his friend today (he had forgotten about it by the time we left for school and didn’t notice).

I also wonder if he is just being influenced by certain stereotypes as he is going to tap dancing lessons, loves musicals and Justin Beiber and Kurt from Glee…..
Just to explain further after a comment below – my son hasn’t seen many episodes of Glee, it is a program I watch as I am in performing arts myself and I always watch it first, he just likes the big song and dance routines, the other content I do not let him see if I consider it too adult in nature but on the whole it is is set in a high school and the themes have been interesting and nothing I wouldn’t discuss with him openly or with his older sister.

I kinda kn where he is at. all through early childhood I had these intense feelings for some of the boys I knew, and a driving need to be near one or two at school even though I didn’t actually know them – I just liked to be where I could see them and if one of them acknowledged me in any way I was in heaven. I had no clue about "gay" then. As I grew I became aware of sex and sexuality and realised slowly that I am in fact gay. Free of any influences I found that I am gay – many straight people dispute the fact that most gay people know through experience – It is nature not nurture that defines who we are – and as Rev. Carl Bean sang some years back "I was born this way".

Your son may have a head start on me, but from your question it seems that given the more open nature of society now he has the information I lacked to make some sense of what he is feeling. It may not be the end game for him, but for now its where he is at and he will need some support in this. I notice a lot that people focus purely on the sexual nature of orientation while completely neglecting the emotional side, and while he may not be chasing guys around the school yard in a state of rampant physical arousal, there is clearly an emotional connect going on and he may feel quite lonely at times.

He will figure out where he wants to be in his own time and that is best done without pressure or judgment from those closest to him, Be there for him, but let him get on with it, Being gay is part of who we are, but it is not all we are, thats the point to remember.

Yeah so my oldest friend and i have know each other our whole lives (16 years) and we have been inseparable for years!

However, last year in school. I got to know another girl in my year. This was because i was in all her lessons and stuff. She started to hang round with the rest of us, and everything was fine until a few months ago.

Basically, i found out that the new girl had been taking drugs and stuff. But she had only told my best friend (which i didn’t mind too much about)

But what did really upset me was when the 2new girl" told me that my best friend has been self harming for 3 years, but she didn’t want to tell me. I felt so hurt that she hadn’t told me before, and that she told the new friend instead of me, who she has know and trusted her whole life. I tried to get her help with the self harming, but she wasn’t having any of it.

A few months on, and they are both back to normal really (no drugs/self harming) but they are closer than ever, and when we are all together they barely talk to me. They always organise concerts for them to go and see together. Sometimes they ask me if i want to go, but the conversation goes something like this;

"Do you want to go to this gig?"
"Yeah sure"
"Really?"
"Yeahhh"
"Are you sure? Its going to be really hot, and squashed, and loud"
"Yeah i’ve been to one before, i know what its like"
"Well i’m just saying i really don’t think its your thing"
"Okay"
"Are you not coming then?"
"Hmm"
"Okay then, i’m booking the tickets now, if you change your mind ring me and i will get one. Byee"

Then they always have to meet up with eachother first before they go out with the rest of us.

I don’t know what to do anymore, i don’t know if their making me feel like this on purpose? But seriously when its just the 3 of us, they walk next to each other with their arms round each other, and always hug and stuff. While i just stand there. I hate the whole situation, i need some help.

I just feel really left out, and i often dread going out.

A real friend would not make you feel this way. Cut your losses and let them have each other. You are a source of their jokes, and you dont have to be. Their actions make it known that they do not value your friendship and they are intentionally trying to hurt you. Find new friends. You deserve better, never let anyone make you feel like less than the wonderful person you are.

Okay, this is mine. Once at my swimming lesson, I was running away from my friends cause they were trying to squirt water at me with their bottles( i was in my swimming suit by the way) and I crash into my crush. We both fell and my boobs were squashed against his dick. Argghh…how embrassing. Now I can never look at him again.
