Is there any … Is there any general understanding of whether it is acceptable sportsmanship for Power to refuse to answer this question put to him by the umpire? Power seems like he is being an but should he be required to incriminate himself? (Compare Blake/Gonzales in the Olympics. Here Blake seemed like an whining about it afterwards at press conferences. I assume Razik got over it sooner).
people who comment … people who comment on these video actually have no clue what they’re talking about, you over-simplify everything.
razik isn’t a little bitch, he has been top 20 in the world. power simply wasn’t fit enough here, it’s not that he didn’t care.
What is wrong with … What is wrong with Johnny? What’s his problem. Simple question, “Did he hit your hand?” Yes or no. Is it that hard to play fair and admit that he hit your hand?
Power is in a … Power is in a different league entirely, but couldn’t be arsed ’cause his opponent was a dick. Just look at the jump volley towards the end of the game, a very rare shot for a pro as the outcome is too variable – he just wasn’t bothered and wanted to finish the game with the torrid little man and go to the pub!
nah squash can get … nah squash can get really bad, squash can get a lot of really bad calls not just as in tennis “in or out” is the 99% of bad calls but in squash it could be “in or out” “down or up” “double bounces” are hard to see sometimes. “lets (interferences of play” we actually have a new system that 3 refs areneeded for squash not just one. hope that helps
i don’t know much … i don’t know much about tennis or squash, but it seems that the relationship between the players, the ref and the spectators is a bit more relaxed and less stiff than in tennis (1:44 and following), i like that!
Basically, if you … Basically, if you cant get to the ball because your opponent is in the way then its a let. If you can get to the ball but cant play your shot coz your scared u mite hit your opponent then its a stroke. There are a few variations to this rule (like created interference) but thats the basics. Hope this helps
If a player feels … If a player feels he cannot strike the ball because his opponents in the way he can call ‘let’ in which the point is replayed. This is usually the case in friendlys or casual play.
In a more competitive match, if the opponent definitely interferes its called as a ’stroke’ in which the player trying to play the shot is awarded the rally. If its a 50/50 decision its usually given as a let and the point is replayed.
can anyone please … can anyone please explain the call of ‘let’ and ’stroke’ ive been playing a couple of months and dont understand this at all. Any help appreciated. Matt.

A stroke is where the opponent hits the ball back to himself or if he is obstructed most of the front wall (i think 3/4 of it).
