I am either doing Tennis or Crew, These are the pros and cons
Tennis-
8 Years Experience
Advanced level For age
Own all equipment
I know the coach well
I play squash and it ruins Tennis Game
Teenis is Getting Boring
Lesson Are Expensive
Crew-
Looks GREAT on your record for College
Friends are doing it
School is top in state
Coed Sport (I’m at a Boy’s School)
I have ZERO Experience and neither does anybody else
I don’t know the coach
Goes to 6 PM and Tennis goes to 5:30 PM

Unless you really love tennis and have a desire to do it at the college level, this sounds like a great opportunity to try crew. If not now, then you probably won’t ever get a chance to try it. Once you’re in college, everyone doing crew will have experience (especially if your college has a competitive crew team), and you’ll go, "Damn, I wish I had done it in high school." And, it seems like you’re getting bored with tennis, so tennis sounds like your safety net more than what you really want to do. You lose nothing if you try crew and don’t like it, but if you don’t try it, you’ll never know what you might have missed. Good luck!
