I am a squash player. And when I tell my friends that, they’ll all be "uh.." Why is squash considered a "lame game?" As far as I know, you need intelligence and agility to play this game! Not only that, you need to be super fit! So why is squash considered to be a lamer game than tennis or badminton? It’s really sad to see squash a dying sport. ):
i personally like sqaush. only done it like once with a friend but it was fun
i think one of the main reason is that it lacks media attention.
seeing badminton is a major game in SEA (southeast asia) it get broadcasted Asia wide when a big tournament is held.
And tennis is like greatly overrated just like any other sports such as soccer and basket ball due to over attention of the media.
so, i guess swuash lacks the amount of awareness of the public on how the game is played, what skills it requires.
when all these are clear that its more skill demamnding than the games u mentioned, and mass media exposure. It is needless to say, the "squash is lame" thinking will be overturned. Not totally, but at least greatly .

its considered lame just because its not a hugely popular and common sport. In today’s society anything that poeple arnt familiar with is lame because they dont want to feel stupid for being out of the loop or heaven forbid they not know everything.
