What is the flavor difference between Butternut squash and Acorn Squash?

I LOVE acorn squash, and recently came across a recipe for Butternut Squash Ravioli… I have never had butternut squash before. I am wondering if there is much of a taste difference between the 2 and if I can use acorn squash instead of butternut squash..

You can use either one. I have used both to make Ravioli. Most people wont even be able to tell the difference.

I think they’re very similar – in fact, I think that butternut squash tastes better. Give it a try!

I really didn’t find it any different except from the shape to me a squash is a squash.

They are interchangable for use in a ravioli. I find Butternut squash a bit sweeter, but not significantly.
