What will keeps bunnies away from squash plants?

Yesterday morning I went to water my veggies and noticed that the flowers were eaten off of my squash. Just the base of the flowers were left laying around. I’m guessing it was bunnies since we have so many around here. What can I do to keep them out of there?

The marigolds are a good idea. I have also used moth balls placed around the perimeter of the garden or plant you are concerned about.

Marigolds! They look nice but smell bad. They will keep the bunnies away.

We have plenty of varmints here in Baja, bunnies, squirrels, gophers, constant war. The squirrels dug up my onions so I put chicken wire fencing around the big pot and they climbed right over it. A screen over the top of the fencing kept them out…doesn’t look nice, tho’ Good luck.
